When a violin is not in daily use, how should it be stored? I'm looking for advice about where it should be kept, and whether the case should be flat or on its side, for example. Also, what should I do about the tuning, temperature, and how often should I check up on it? My violins go haywire with regard to tuning in spring and autumn, so with warmer weather around the corner I am giving them a check up today. Tweet
