A former professional dancer, I also studied and played the violin while I was dancing, and some time after. I was inspired by watching gypsy music and dance on t.v. when I was a kid.

A product of the "dance boom" of the 70's, it was also a heady time in music. I even played on a disco recording with two Russian Julliard students, what fun! Still love hearing great music played live, the only way to hear it, imo. Cheers.
