Chin Kim

Chin Kim, international soloist and pedagogue, is top and high prizewinner at the Concours International Musique de Montréal, Queen Elisabeth Competition, Paganini Competition and the International Violin Competition of Indianapolis. He was soloist with the Philadelphia Orchestra, St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal, Czech Philharmonic, and all major orchestras in South and North Korea. He is on the violin faculty at Queens College, CUNY Graduate Center for doctoral studies, and the Columbia University Teacher’s College. He also teaches privately, performs and teaches at multiple festivals, gives masterclasses, and online as well.
