Martha Yasuda

Martha is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music and is also an arranger for the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and President of the Yasuda Music Company LLC (www.YasudaMusic.com).

Martha enjoys teaching all levels of violin students, having taught in a private studio setting for over 35 years. She is an author of close to eighty books for string players, and has duets for all Suzuki books 1-10. Twenty-six of her books are licensed by the International Suzuki Association.

Forewords for some of her books are written by William Starr, William Preucil Sr., Christopher Rex (principal cellist of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra) and Barbara Barber.

Other themes in her writing include Christmas, American, Wedding, Hymn and Timeless Melodies (includes duets for top favorites from Barbara Barber’s series, “Solos for Young Violinists.”)
